Blade designes

Haven't done a lot of throwing in years. I got the itch again as some of my old friends showed an interest too. Back when I threw we threw smaller blades( 7" to 9 "). I've made a few for some but didn't realy put the intrest in I should. Being a knifemaker now I don't have to worry about cost as much as I did when I was a kid in using diferent kinds, so my question is... Is there a prefrence as to blade length, design, and or weight? We are planing to erect a small indoor range and maybe an outdoor as well.

Is a good place to start, lots of information about designers, the Store section has a lot of pictures, as well as the "knives" section. That should give you a good idea of some directions to take.
