Blade etch ?? for TJT

I would like to know if it is ever possible to obtain a 2000 or 4000 drop-point lockback classic w/o the full-blade etching? As much as I like the knife, I think the etching is just too much. Something more like the 3000 blade would be preferable (or tang stamps only, better yet).

I realize the odds are probably slim, but I just had to ask.

Well, we sometimes make runs of unetched knives, and they don't sell
as well, as it seems more people like the etch.
I can ask the production people if anything is in the works, and I'll announce it here.

Well, the official word is that there are no plans for an un-etched run
of these knives.
So, for the time being, they will all have etches.
