Blade etches and signatures...

Is it difficult to remove blade etches or engraved signatures. I sometimes think Chuck B. was born with an engraver in his hand. I suspect the laser blade etches can be buffed out but how deep are the electric engraver signatures?

I have removed etchings but have not personally tried to remove engraved signatures. I do know that some engravings can be removed but do not believe they all can be done without changing the blade profile.
