Is there a drop point blade exchange for the 112? Or is it clip point only? What steel types are available for the 112? Thanks

far as i know clip point only with the exception of the bcci knife that had a droppoint and some of the local smiths swap from the bucklite series to get a droppoint but clippoint only from factory and 420 only i think (bcci was s30v)

:( ...Scott..It would be just fantastic if there was anything at all available for the 112 like there is for the 110. Unfortunately the "blade exchange" availability for the Ranger consists of whatever you are able to fit into the 112 frames yourself. The Custom Shoppe will build you a 110 with various options but that may be in the process of some kind of changes right now...You can send in a 110 for some blade upgrades but that is also undergoing some kind of modifications as to what types of steel will be available...but there are no upgrades or blade variations available at all for the 112 at this time. We all would love to see the 112 added to the Custom Shoppe's "menu" and we'd love to see various blade configurations and different steels made available for it as well...but it hasn't happened yet. Some of the folks in the forum have taken to making their own "drop point" 112's and different variations that they come up with themselves. There are a lot of great "tinkerers" here in the forum...Let's just keep our fingers crossed that someday we can get for the 112 the same things we can get for the 110's...:) :cool:
