blade finish/corrosion

Has anyone else noticed small spots of corrosion forming on Nirvana blade?

It's been very humid in my area recently and have noticed tiny spots of corrosion on the blade finish after carrying it.

Anyone know of a good way to remove it without affecting the finish?

I have good success with barkeepers friend. In fact earlier today it got rid of some patina formed on my VG10 police 4 LW that I ate a very salty steak with and didn't wash the salty grease off fast enough.

There's no rust on my Nirvana.

Not sure what would work to remove it from the knife's grey matte finish.

I think most liquid rust removal products (which I think mainly include lye) would be destructive & given the value of the knife I would hesitate to try anything than lightly brushing the blade w/the small copper brush that I sometimes use to clean my guns.

I've always used a pencil eraser. won't work on pitting and deep rust, works great on light rust spotting.......
