Blade finish on Emerson CQC-8

Just came home from a long day of striper fishin off the Cape and in the mailbox was my two new knives, an Emerson CQC8 and Benchmade 710. I got a stonewashed plain blade on the cqc8 and was just wondering if anyone elses has a different finish on the part of the blade where the emerson logo is. I'll post a pic later but the only way i can describe it is like shattered glass. It doesn't look bad, i've just never noticed that in all the pics of CQC8's that i have seen before. its is a 2011 #2053 if that helps. Anyone else's CQC 8 have that? Btw i am really happy with it, i've heard things about them not coming that sharp from the factory but this one is shaving sharp!

Looking at my stonewashed 2011 commander right now and the part you are describing as the shattered glass is the stonewashed portion

ok thanks PurpleGold, i have all satin finishes on my blades so i've never seen that before. the pic on blade HQ was of a satin finish i guess. I was kinda thinking thats what a satin finish looked like after i posted that....it was a loooong day of striper fishing haha
