Misplaced a VG-10 Endura that I used as a beater knife. It was my first spyderco and how I loved that blade. At first, I babied it, but as I my tastes progressed, and I acquired more expensive blade this knife was designated as one that I beat up on and my primary fishing knife when I kayak. I just realized it was misplaced today. I use this blade many times for kayaking. Luckily I got an endura ZDP in route, but I will not be bringing it in salt water environments and don't plan on abusing it initially. My hope is that the VG10 endura shows up, but in the interim it has me thinking about a Salt series in H1. What folder should I go with. I have determined I want a serrated blade. VG10 actually did pretty well in harsh environments and I would rinse her off when I got home. Should I go with a Tasman or Pacific Salt? What are your thoughts?

Pacific SE is in my pocket every day. While there would be some things the Tasman would be better at, the Pacific is the better all around IMO. I had the Tasman for a while but traded it away.

Salt - Pacific salt to be exact with the SE. I got the non SE and wished I had gotten the SE. I also carry a Salt I in SE - another awesome knife.

Another vote for the Pacific Salt. Love this thing. It fulfills so many roles.

I think I saw a used tasman on the exchange for cheap At the price, yould buy it, try, and sell it for the same price if you dont like it. I have not compared them, but I like the tasman. A lot.
