Hi
Having just seen the forum knives laid out all at the same time, I was wondering which is your favourite knife from the series and why, also what do you use it for?
If it doesn't upset any sensibilities, which is your least favourite?
Close up photos please if possible.

I only own two; 2018 Buck 301 (2 blade) "stockman", and the 2022 Bunny Knife.
I think the bunny is my preference. Not as ostentatios a carry for something like me. I also prefer carbon steel.

I use them for whatever might come up in a day ... usually cutting lunch/supper to "bite size" and removing the artificial "skin" from the artificial (alleged) "ham" they use here.

I only have 5 or 6 Forums knives
Least Favorite is the Bunny Knife : Undersized and very Blah . Carried a very few times and has been put away .

Most favorite and used is the 2019 Forum Knife : Great size and carry and use it a lot .

I would have to say my favorites would be either the Saddle trapper or the S&M barlow that was made. Sadly i have neither, but the blade combo is my absolute favorite. A clip and a wharncliffe make the perfect setup. I have a similar knife from another maker and it is my go to for anything i would need a blade for. Out of the ones i own i would have to say the Springstreet barlow, purely because it looks gorgeous!

The 85 lifter is probably my favorite, it took me years to find one and I'm certainly glad that I did. My first two GEC loves we BSs and 85s, so it only made sense to get one.

I have purchased each forum knife since 2012, and the bunny is my favorite.

It is a great size for work carry and sees lots of use with basic tasks around the house. The finish and action are terrific!
My least favorite is the 2012. Too large, too heavy, and the bone has an odd color to me. A nice knife, but just not a favorite.

Good idea, giving opinions about knives is what a knife forum is for :D

I have or had, 2008 Stockman, 2010 Moose (gone) 2011 Bullet End (gone) 2013 Irish Jack, 2014 Stag Jack, 2015 Canal St, 2016 35 Punch, 2017 TC Barlow, 2018 Buck Stockman x2, 2020 Viper Swayback x2, finally 2021 Spring Barlow.

I don't dislike any of them but don't buy ones I'm not interested in except the 09 from Queen which I missed out on due to oversight /incompetence etc of the organizer. Do have clear favourites though and they are

2014 Stag from GEC, fine stag, a great shield and around the right size, possibly would've been better Barehead as the John Lloyd donated Stag was so fine seems a crime to lop some off. In hand, which for me is the key denominator, it's superb. No safe queen this, it has led a dirty exciting life . Would like a back-up but hard to do.

2018 Buck American Elk. Love this as it's all steel, no brass, beautifully sharp the 154CM gets. Really prefer Stockman or blade each end knives so this does it, excellent W&T on mine as I'm very lucky to have a back-up in case of loss as I won it in a GAW.

2020 Viper Swayback from Italy. Not everybody's cup of tea, but it is mine. Superb Modern Traditional from Italy organized in very difficult circumstances by Mike Latham during COVID shutdown. Many thanks to knifeswapper knifeswapper for this. Relatively light in weight but not in construction, integral titanium bolsters, stop-pin, Mufflon- Ram's Horn scales, Bird's eye style pivot, near sunk joint so easy on the pocket, stunning interpretation of Traditional via Modern with impressive M390 Wharncliffe. Also more than fortunate to have a back-up on this one (no two are the same) due to sf fanatic sf fanatic tremendous kindness and generosity in sending me one 😍

So, one from GEC (and they've made most of the Forum Knives) in carbon with Stag, one in all stainless from Buck with American Elk and one in Modern style and steel in Ram's Horn from Viper Italy. All rather different except their handle slabs were all Antler or Horn.
