I wanted to put a thread in where we as members can give thanks at this time of year to this great community that we have right here.
Guys and Gals, I personally want to say a very big thank you to you all here in Traditionals, its my favourite place to come in and cruise...sometimes I get kinda brave and visit Bernard...but he keeps lashing my back open with his cat-o-nine-tails lol...its all good!
Theres a lot of things in life that I cherish, I love my beautifull lady-I think Im the luckiest guy on Earth to have such a sweetheart, she has two lovely kids, and I have two lovely daughters....so I do realise just how fortunate I am, and then there is my other"family" and thats my knives and the folks I have got to know that have made me feel very welcome here...so Im sorry, I am here to stay
.
My friends.... I wish you all such a MERRY CHRISTMAS, keep it safe and happy, I look forward to wishing you all this next year.
Thank you for our last two Mods, who upheld Traditionals so finely, two great people Gus & Elliot, so many hours of their own time and great knowledge they have shared, and we even got to have a peek at their stunning knives
...and wow do they have some beautiful knives...both of you guys must keep hanging out here please!.
Frank, Gary welcome... well not really welcome because you guys have stamped your place here long ago, but what I am trying to say is as the people you are, you are welcome by all of us Im sure to Mod our most awesome Traditionals, so thank you for accepting your role, you certainly have big shoes to fill....shoes Im sure you'll grow into very soon, I and others think the start has been great by you both.
Last but not least, our members, and my friends here as well... your generosity has been overwhelming, its taught me many things believe it or not, and I myself love to have the do the odd give-away now and then...it makes you feel good inside doesnt it?..to see the winners...and their expressions of joy...next thing they are off doing the same tradition, and I have been a benefactor of such Generous folk whom I would dearly love to name.
Merry Christmas and thank you to all, I invite you to place your seasons wishes here.
May Santa bring lots of shiny sharp things your way
