My memory is not what it use to be but I think it was during the late 90's and the guy I am thinking that started the blade forum owned a internet knife store and other items. Can anyone refresh my memory on this?
 
I think I remember. I was a member there and I believe it was the original owner of knifeforums. Seems to me the dealer dealt a lot in Maddog knives. Mike Turber was around there and I dont remember his connection...part owner maybe?

Kevin (Spark) and maybe Mike started this site in Oct 98 which many of us hopped over here (I used to go by 'Richard'...lost login info). Those were great forum days.

Dont know if all my info is accurate...just how I remember it.

I miss the old BF chat from back in the day...Tim Herman, PhilL and many other regulars used to hang out there.
 
Thanks everyone I think those are the names I remember. Somehow I fell out of the forum I think I was using mongo in those days. Is Mike still in the knife business ?

Mongo...I think I remember you. Dunno if he is still in the biz...did he not get into some cheapo knife bit for a while and then cheap scooters or something?
 
Mike & Kevin had (W.O.W.) World of Weapons back then. I remember getting blo-guns, stun guns and all sorts of "stuff" :D .

Kevin started BF, Mike showed up a few days later and they became partners IIRC.
