This may be a silly question but i'm wondering what is the knife in the blade forums logo? It looks kinda like some sort of benchmade but i have no clue.

So anyone know?

IIRC, it's not a real knife.

It is a real knife. It is an EDI Genesis. The company is now out of business.

It's a design for a knife that was never actually built. It's better that way than having one real knife and every other manufacturer feeling slighted.

Ah, yes, you are correct. Wasn't the logo knife something else a while back? I thought it was determined that the logo was the Genesis? I guess not. The EDI's were nice knives though.

There used to be two logo knives, one above the other. The lower knife was pulled. I can't remember what it was, but it was a real knife design.

IIRC (and I could easily be wrong), the knife in the logo was an auto designed by Mike Turber. I don't think it ever went into production.

It looks like a cool design though, doesn't it? :)

rededge77 thanks for asking i was wondering that also. also thanks to cerulean for the link to the old post for the answer. later, ahgar
