I was thinking it would be cool if spark put up a page that we could all go to and fill out a survey that could be posted as a bunch of statistics on things like age, location, preferences of members.
 
Sure, we can do that, that's no big deal.

Let me know what you guys think, and feel free to submit other questions you would like to see on there.

We have polling software, it just needs to be used.

I think member sex would be interesting. Wait... that didn't sound right. Anyway, I've always wondered how many women actually like knives.

I think a voluntary survey is a heck of a good idea.I think it may offer some suprises and could be beneficial to your marketing as well.One of the reasons NASCAR is so successful is their use of demographic breakdowns in attracting sponsors.Fans have above average disposable incomes and are very loyal.I suspect that is true here.A profile of age,sex,marital/family status,household income,and approx value of knife purchases.

Great idea--might even find someone in your neighborhood you didn't know was there.
 
Sounds cool to me. But i wouldn't make the location thing too specific. Wouldn't want to get in any legal troubles over someone supposedly getting stalked over what someone found on the survey(sure its unlikely, but we do live in a kinda weird world).

sounds like a good idea. things like state, maybe city, sex, favorite kind of knife (produciton, custom, folder, fixed), that kind of thing. sounds great to me!
