Blade Forums on Tapatalk app

Hey everyone, I was recently introduced to the Tapatalk app which is used for browsing/posting on forums. Although, I'm unable to connect to BF on the app because it says it is offline and that the new forum style is the reason for it.

Will BF be updated on the app anytime soon? I'd like to be able to use Tapatalk instead of browsing through Safari on my phone.

Also, could someone tell me if I'm posting this in the right forum? Wasn't quite sure where to post. Thanks!
 
correct forum as far as Tapatalk it used to be supported but the site got a facelift and no longer uses vBulletin, consequently tapatalk no longer supported but I wish it was like you as well.
 
I don't think it is necessary with the new software. I can click and load any page on my iPhone easily and quickly. The pages load cleanly and without any crunched text or shifted columns, bidden or double stacked buttons. FOr other forums it might be necessary, but not here. Just my 2 cents.

Its not about the load but rather the notifications. I can never buy something I look out for because it disappears instantly and its because I don't get notifications right away. Tapatalk was immensely helpful with notifications.

EDIT: in CRK exchange looking for something specific
 
I literally stopped using this site after the lose of Tapatalk compatibility until today, it was so much easier...
 
Yeah, this sucks compared to an app. Apps allow for direct posting of pictures and way better mobile keyboard compatibility. This mobile supported site screws with my keyboard a lot, cannot properly use correction options and it constantly glitches out. Let alone I can't post pictures directly from my phone or from Instagram. Last thing I want to do is use it another image hosting site just to be able to participate.

Bad choice for users. But if it's good for the company than I understand it. I'll still complain about it though.
 
Complain all you want, Tapatalk was violating security procedures, scraping content, and doing a bunch of shady shit. If they are telling you it was because of the skin, they are lying.

I don’t mean to interject but are yawl referring to a phone app for bladeforums?
That would be AMAZING!
Perhaps some of the membership funds received could help towards making it happen??? Maybe???

With that being said I’m sure there is a damn good reason why we don’t have one yet. Just something I thought about asking while attempting to navigate this mobile version of the site on an iPhone.

- I’m not complaining, after all I did pay for a gold membership to use as is.

Is this something that we could look forward to in the future?

Tapatalk is a forum app not a bladeforums app. When the new software was implimented the boss decided to nix tapatalk functionality for the reasons he stated. Right, wrong, or indifferent it's his place so it's his call.
