Blade ganza or best way to get busse

Hey guys I'm new here. I've recently have been interested in Busse blades and am trying to understand the best way to get these besides paying more money in the for sale section. How often are the blade ganzas and how do they work? I called Busse and they seem to release blades at 5 pm on Wednesdays. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
 
The blade releases on Wednesdays are on hiatus right now. The best way to get blades and information about releases is to get on the newsletter.
 
In the meantime you could look at all the recent designs and try to get on a wait list. For older models you could try posting in the wanted to buy section.

It really depends on what you are looking for.
 
In many cases the blades in the exchange are at or below original cost often adding a sheath as well. Keep an eye out for what you want and see what the sold for originally.
 
I would suggest a combination of all 3 - new & improved models will come out when Operation 2 Weeks returns, the Exchange for anything & everything if you are quick enough (I think the prices are usually pretty good if you're buying) and a Ganzaaaa for the really unique stuff plus a smattering of everything.

It's possible that there may be a 'Ganza after Blade, but you can't count on that if the Hogs empty the Trough. Just watch this space.

Your best bet is when O2W restarts, but then the selection is limited to that weeks offering.

There is a ton of inventory on the Exchange, and more shows up as the folks that order multiples dump them. Shop carefully, and you should be OK.

As stated, just sign up for their email list and they will send you the offers.

Right, the email offers normally go out Wednesday. They don't actually 'release' the blades as in ship them, but they basically are 'pre-selling' the product before it is manufactured. You order it based on a photo and then you wait for production, which can run several months before your knife is ready. Then they charge your card and ship the product. So this is the best way to get a great deal without paying any extra, the only downside is the wait. Hope this helps, welcome to the forum.

You could have something in hand in 3 days from the exchange, vs maybe Christmas time maybe from Operation Two Weeks

Thanks for all the info. I just got into the Busse knives about a month ago and I already went all in, picked up a SH-E, SOB, TG, Basic 8 and NMSFNO. It was bad enough when I was just buying guns. I've met a lot of great ppl on here already!

My guess is closer to 10+ months for the most recent orders based on the way their backlog has grown. When O2W started it was at their typical "up to 14 weeks" timeline. We're currently at 5 months for the Battle Mistresses that are just now hitting credit cards. I don't expect to see the Baby Boom LE I ordered on 2/24 until at least Thanksgiving.

So yes, if you want anything close to immediate gratification, make a deal on the exchange.

That's a great collection already. Now you need a chopper. INFI shines in big, tough, near-indestructible blades.

Fuck now I have a Battle Mistress on the way. Traded one of my trijicon MRO's for it. This has been a pretty expensive month...

Cant wait for the knives to come! I definitely have the itch. It's sad that my UPS and Fed Ex drivers come to the house so much delivering stuff that they'll stop and say what's up even if they don't have a package. My better half is onto me...
