On one of these threads someone presented photos of their "drop point" Buck 110 and 112.
I had seen this term "drop point" used to describe a blade but had not seen one.
It is obviously very different from what I see on all my 110s.
Would anyone like to share why this blade is called drop point?
What is the other more common Buck 110 blade called? Is one better than the other? Why would I care about the shape of the blade anyway as long as its sharp and has a point or tip. I am more familar with the knives in my kitchen drawer.
I know different blade shapes lend themselves to particular tasks such as those specialty knives for carving beef, etc but if we are just talking about folders here like the 110 or 112, does it matter which one?
If these are very elementary questions I apologise.
Perhaps there is a text I should checkout at the library.
Naw, Its more fun to read all your answers!
