Blade grind #4 on my 2nd KSO fixed blade.

My first take on at a hollow grind.

Other side I flubbed a little, might try and clean it up a little-we'll see

Unfortunately I took the edge down a bit thinner than a dime - worth HT or scrap it?

Either way I'll probably finish up the handle profile just for the practice.

If it's carbon steel down to about .030 is fine,SS can go to .015-.020.

1084 but it's .03 for the most part but a few spots are less. .25 in a few spots and I haven't hand sanded yet.

Can I chew a bit off and make it a recurve? then I'd get +.030 across the board.

I would just hand sand it out to a clean 220 and H/T,you should be ok.Will still give you enough to clean up decarb if you don't overheat.

Yes it should. I have a couple knives for HT right now, I've got some 1/8 stock coming from Aldo so I'll bust out a few more before I fire up the coffee can rig.
