My adjustable blade grinding jig. Decided to make my own hinges.

OK I have to see some pics or video of it in use for heaven sakes! Plus I would like to see it from other views!

How much does your grinding jig weigh?

Is the blade ground to completion of one side and then repositioned before grinding the other side?

Those of you with knowledge, skills and abilities make it very difficult for those of us without it. ;-)

That looks very good.

Soooo... if you clamp two blades in it with the pointy ends coming out at opposite ends you can do two knives at once????

I wouldn't say it's heavy. It's a lot smaller and more comfortable than my last one. The white stuff on bottom let's it slide easily on the rest. The pictures may make it look bigger than it is.

You could grind to completion on one side then flip. But I like to flip it around a few times to make sure I get everything even.

Complicated. I have one I've made up that one you get the blade positioned, you don't remove it until both sides are finished down to say that Norton 16 grit. I'm soory I still don't post pictures to the forums. When I did get pictures up a lot of viewers thought it was too simple to work very well at all. I do all sorts off blade shapes. If you want to see my folders that all have been done with my simple set up, go to the customknifegallery.com and scroll down on the left hand side.
Basically my sytem places the blade between two pieces of micarta each about 1" thick and a tilting table. Yes I grind double blades with this as well without taking the blade out of the two micarta blocks. Frank
