I just spent the last hour digging around the Blade HQ site. I'm not sure if you guys here know this or not, but they sell more than just Kershaw knives. Who knew? They have some flashlights, really cool pens, shovels, paracord, utensils, even books and bracelets. Simply amazing.
I noticed in real small print, ;) that they even have a small selection of knives made by other manufacturers. Not that I looked at those knives or anything.
Anyway, I'm heading back over to www.bladehq.com.

Hey guys, don't stray too far from the fold... but we do have one or two other items worth checking out.

Kershawguy is WAY better if your planning to buy a Kershaw or ZT, ships the same day you order unless you order late at night then early morning. Bladehq takes way longer.

Bladehq is my favorite for other knives tho, huge selection. I spend at least 1hr a day on their website lol.

Yea, like the...........Actually I don't think there is anything else worth checking out.

Usually my BladeHQ orders take the same amount of time to get to me as kershawguys.

So apparently I broke a forum rule according to Morrow.
I don't understand it though. It says that I'm guilty of "Auction / Deal / Bargain Spotting". The link provided by Morrow doesn't even work.
I'm not clear on the part of BladeHQ not being a member either. If they are not a member of the forum, how can they post a response on this thread? Huh?
I suppose it not nice to talk about a knife dealer/retailer here even if it's just to talk about what they sell. Lesson learned.

*Edit*

Just found this: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/entry.php/121-Who-are-the-Bladeforums-Paid-Dealers
Who is 9th on the list?

You have received a warning at BladeForums.com
Dear nolaradio,

You have received a warning at BladeForums.com.

Reason:
-------
Auction / Deal / Bargain Spotting

bladehq is not a BF member or dealer, not authorized for linking.

Auction / Deal / Bargain Spotting - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/fa..._deal_spotting

This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care.
If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising.
This infraction can be issued as a warning and is worth 10 points towards your total. It expires in 12 months.

Warnings serve as a reminder to you of the forum's rules, which you are expected to understand and follow.

All the best,
BladeForums.com

hmm. ya BHQ user has their name in green, and says Dealer / Materials provider, so I don't know why OP got dinged a point from the mod. But then again, I'm not a mod, and I don't claim to understand all of the things that happen on BF.

The warning was reversed. Mods can make mistakes too.

I've ordered from both KershawGuy and BladeHQ and have received both in the same amount of time.

What originally got me started with looking at BladeHQ's site this particular day was that I was doing a little comparison shopping. I was actually going down the list of bladeforum site sponsors found here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/entry.php/121-Who-are-the-Bladeforums-Paid-Dealers
I was looking for three knives and figured I would look for the best deal. Some of the sponsors didn't even have what I wanted and others were way out of the ballpark. I ended up putting them in my wish list on that other site that begins with an "A", where you can buy everything under the sun. I will try to buy from the sponsors here but I really don't see the point of paying up to $15 more for something when I can find it elsewhere cheaper. Maybe someone can show me the benefit of doing so.

This is why I love BF. Even when a mod does make a mistake, they're human enough to admit it. Kudos mods!!!

Yes, I noticed it was reversed. But if they were "human enough to admit it", I would like to believe they were human enough to copy and paste an apology like they copied and pasted the warning. Maybe I'm just expecting too much though.

Oh snap!

What exactly would you like? It's difficult to send you an apology when you have no contact info listed.

Maybe a member who has only been here for a couple months and doesn't pay to be on the site could respect the mods who uphold this place, and show them the common courtesy of sending them a PM if you have an issue with a decision they have made?

Back on topic, BladeHQ has been my favorite dealer for years. Always top notch service!
