.... OK...so it is a FBM... but it is FAT...so a FFBM... but it is Sabre Ground (so it appears to me). My other Fatty is Flat Ground... I have not (but OK I have not searched either) seen a SG version... I am sure they are out there though. Or am I just imagining it ? It is Sage with Smog G10 as best I can tell.

Very cool knife . I believe the original FFBMs were saber ground. There were later versions of the FBM that were at least as thick but flat ground that I don't consider to be true FFBMs.

Nice one Andy  SG for sure.
Here is a sage/smog I use to have. It had standard scales though
...thanks mate, I didn't think I was imagining it.

.... My other is one of those..

Hi Andy. What is the thickness of it?

Chris.
.... not 100% yet mate, still in transit.... but if I were to speculate .3 something.

Should be around 0.301 to 0.306" depending on paint. All the original FFBMs, from the Company Store, were shaped like that one IIRC. Later, all sorts of things happened.

IIRC, the flat ground ones were FFFBM's (3 f's). Fat Flat Fusion Battle Mistress. The others had a mere 2 f's.

Added: Actually looked back at old threads and may be wrong. Some discussion was that the "flat" pertained to a lack of CBT's and typing only 2 f's was just people's lazy typing. :D

Seemed to be both flat and sabre ground versions though.

Yeah I am happy with this one as well. It came from another Aussie out here who I have bought a couple of blades from. I told him he was "killing me" with the temptations but I could not say no LOL Makes it better when you work with someone who is so easy to deal with as well.

I am going to start a shelter for "homeless" Busses out here soon.... ;)

That was described on Ken Lunde's wallpaper pages as a "Fat Flat Fusion Battle Mistress (FFFBM) with 10" Desert Sage Crinkle 0.320-inch INFI blade and Fusion Desert Sage Camo G-10 handles." It was sold through the Company Store around May of 2007. I got one just like it from Skunk.

Yep, John this one is identical to that. .309 at the front of the scales.

Some pics when I have some time ... :D
