I was wondering if any one has the back issue of Blade Magazine that has the article about the knives and tomahawks used in the movie 'The Last of the Mohicans'.

I believe it's the February 1993 issue.

If so, I would deeply appreciate it if someone would be willing to copy or scan the article for me. Of course, I'd be willing to pay for your time and trouble.

Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I did try Krause and they told me they don't keep an extensive library of back issues. I will try Daniel Winkler, though.

Thanks again.

I have it! I would be happy to copy it and send it to you. Unfortunately, I won't be able to send it until Tuesday. PM me your address.

Best,
Tom

That would be great! I really appreciate it. Take as much time as you need but I don't know how to send a PM!

That was a great moive.Ken-tuck-y

That was a fabulous movie. I read how the Crow and other tribes considered the state(area) to be their hunting land, and would kill other tribe members on site.

Supposedly Kentucky loosely translates to "bloody land," IIRC.

Would you mind including me on that distribution list? Need anything for your trouble?

Thanks.

There were a lot of great lines in that movie!

"Someday, Major, you and I are going to have a serious disagreement."!:D

I thoroughly enjoyed the last fight scene in which the bad guy got his. I believe that actor is Wes Studi. He is a great actor.

"Batter up!" :D

love that movie. and that XL gunstock hawk that Chingachgook used....not true to the real gunstock hawks in terms of size but very cool, nevertheless.

Were they actually much smaller?

Thanks.

Yes, they were quite a bit smaller. That one was made oversized for visual cinematic effect and so we could SEE IT!
