blade length on the HEST?

looking at the ESEE site today i notices that the HEST page has the overall length for the HEST, but not the blade length.

all the other models seem to list the blade length, from tip to handle and for the cutting edge length.

and the DPx site only has info on the HEST/F, nothing on the HEST.

sorry, perhaps nobody else cares, but i've got a silly county reg on blade length for concealed knives. :rolleyes:

3" is the threshold, and 2.9 or so would give a little margin for error if someone's tape measure hasn't been calibrated recently.

the only part that concerns me is that if someone tries to measure it from the tip to handle... but then, by that standard, on an Izula without scales, the whole knife would be "blade" so i think measuring just the cutting edge is a simple enough argument. :rolleyes:
