Anyway to remove the logo and markings from a blade without a regrind? I want to do this on my ZT0640.

Depends on how it's applied, and assuming it's etched, how deep it is. If it's painted on, it's pretty damn easy to get it off. If it's not etched too deep, you might be able to get rid of it with some simple sanding and/or media blasting. You might also be able to cover it with a blade coating (especially thick powder coat, like on an ESEE)

Looking at the 0640, I just noticed that the logo is actually on the grind, which complicates matters for you.

I removed the logo (and finish obviously) on this 4Max and even after the finish was long gone it took a good bit of sanding before I could no longer see hints of the logo at certain angles in the light. Still, since the logos in this case were on the flats it was a much more straightforward project.
