blade mag BOLO article

I haven't bought a knife mag in awhile.
I really love discussing all the ins and outs and hearing comments from so many people all over the world. BF is awesome!

but last night my wife and I were shopping and I saw blade mag in the store. the cover is wesley snipes. but there was a good article on bolos in the filipines and how they are made. it wasn't the most indepth article but it offered alot of info on their tradition of knife making.

I have always had a fascination with machetes and this article fit the bill.


now all I need is more cash to explore bolos in the filipines.

If you liked the Blade Article as much as I did also, then take a look at the many types of forged bolos, goloks, etc, on the following website:

They are located in Australia but apparently have connections throughout Southeast Asia and sure do offer a nice selection of native forged cutlery.
I wonder if anyone on this board has ever ordered anything from them?
