Blade marked Utica M3 trench fighting knife WWII

Up for sale is a WWII blade marked utica US m3 fighting knife. The blade measures 6 1/2 inches, oal is 11 3/8. Blade has been sharpened and shows some stone marks. A few of the stacked leather rings are gone and there is a leather tied in its place, handle has had repairs made to it in the past. Please see photos. Pummel has the proper ordinance mark. Comes with the more scarce scabbard early model marked usm8. Snap works. Also included is a padded zipper storage case. Ref. can be seen in Cole book III page 100 and best of Cole page 130 and 133.
