I was just wondering, in a rare (hah!) reflective moment about a lost blade, what type of steel was used in the 1996 line of executive gent's knives. Also, is the pivot pin completely hidden under the steel scales,or did i just miss it? I thought it was an excellent blade, by the way. congratulations and thanks.

Halycon,

Welcome to the forums! You should have a ton of fun here.
The Executive had 420 high carbon steel blades. The rivets are blended in, they are there, just hard to see sometimes.

Take care,
