What is the differance between the material used in Benchmade's model 710 which contains what they describe as 154CM or MS tool steel (60-62) (M2) and the steel used in thier model 805 axis which is described simply as 440c (58-60. I have been using benchmade products for some time and like most of all, their discontinued model 975. Of late however, I have grown fond of the model 710. Since I like large folders, I just ordered the 805 and am now wondering if I made a mistake. I also just ordered the Masters of Defense CQD and would like your thoughts on it also. Is it really worth the money or have I just gotten screwed on the MOD and the 805. Thanks for all who are smarter then I who I hope can answer the questions of this perverted old knife lover.
