to anyone out there.

what is the difference between AUS-6M and AUS-6A stainless steel?

AUS-6M has .1%-.3% molybdenem in the steel, where as AUS-6A has no molybdenem. Molybdenem aids in stain resistance and toughness. The only knife manufacturer that I know of that uses AUS-6M is Columbia River Knife and Tool. I personally like both steels because they are very easy to sharpen. By the way, welcome to the Forums!:)
