Anyone still using theirs?

For the newbies, this was a rig offered a while back that allowed down the back carry (among others positions) of blades ranging from a Mean Street up to a straight-handled Battle Mistress.

Have never seen it, but I would LOVE to carry a Mistress concealed :) Talk about a grinning idiot walking down the street :)

I have one. Good design, and I often wear it hiking as it allows a comfortable and low-profile carry of my Battle Mistress. Only problem is that on downhills, where I stepping in a somewhat jerkier fashion, the knife will occasionally work its way loose. My standard carry for my BM is a Kenny Rowe leather sheath. It rides well, provides comfortable and quick access, and has proven durable.

That looks like a great setup. I remember seeing these quite a while ago, but forgot about them. Is there any place to get these sheath systems?

It is an awesome design!

Maker's name is Greg Namin; goes by grnamin on the forums.

That is a "sweet setup"; however, what is sheathed?! Please tell, dzig!

The pic is of a Battle Mistress E with "customized" handles by Greg. He replaced the handle slabs with micarta and put in comfortable palm swells. Greg's a great guy to boot and is very thorough in his work, as you can see.

I remember that BM!

The cool thing I remember about the Blade o leer is that you can also wear it handle up, handle down, left draw, right draw, front or back, or any other way you can come up with!

I would still love to get one for a Steel Heart E. Does anyone know if he would still make them?
