Blade oil for Blades?!

I use hair trimmer blade oil on all my folders to lube the pivots and stuff so far it seems to work great. Its the stuff that comes in a lil bottle with like a wahl or some kind of clippers like that. I was wondering if anybody else does the same and what their opinions were on it, like i said i am pretty content with how well it works

I like Clenzoil in the needle oiler for pivots.

Anyone have any expirence useing silicone oil ? I use it on a whole bunch of other things and it works great, but it may be to thick, thoughts ?

well I like the trimmer blade oil and I think it works so well in folders because its so light. I would think a thick oil would be kind of sticky and bind up in such tight spaces such as pivots

I use mineral oil because it's food grade and I use my carry knives to cut food from time to time.
