I know Joe has asked us to hold off on warranty and blade upgrade request, so got to thinking that maybe we can give him a preview of comming attractions once they get lined out.

For warranty I have:

1 - 112 with a bad blade
2 - 110 " " "
1 - 110 with bad lock bar

For upgrades I want :

At least Four S30V blades for 110's and 560's
At least two S30V blades for 112's

Just a thought.... If I was him I would like to know what is coming at me down the road.

I've got a 112 that's just crying for a BG-42 blade so it won't feel bad when it's hanging out with it's big brother!

LOL...this sounds like a good "sticky" thread, much like the "Hold your warrantee knives!" thread. :)

I would love to see a BG42 upgrade for the 112, as I have a 1st generation black handle BuckLite 422 which is beat to crap, and uses the same size blade. I picked it up for $8.00 on eBay just hoping that I would be able to get an upgraded blade for it. Here's another vote for opening up the shop to more than just 110s!

And I would like a polished S30V blade for my 560, I love that blade steel...
What? I can't get my order in line too? Hardly seems fair to me.

You don't know how its killing me to tell folks to wait. Makes we wish i had Efren teach me how to do blade swaps before he left. I watched it done many times but there is a lot of "feel" involved in getting it right.

I hope you-all can hold tight until we get dug out of this backlog.
I also hope I can get my hands on some S30V 110 blades.

Joe,

Please don't take this thread as a push or "hurry up" thing. I was just curious as to how many of us there are out here wanting blade upgrades, mainly.

If the S30V for the 110/560/others is a toughie, I could go for the BG42.

But in afterthought, "Hurry Every Chance You Get" :D :D :D :D

Hey Joe, I hate making you feel worse, but you really missed out on a golden opportunity. I wish I had someone like him to teach me!! I sure hope you can find another dedicated individual for your re-work dept....Efren's don't come along everyday.

...Sure could see a BG-42 on my 25 year old 112, come to think of it...I have a 501 in dire need of some help in the blade department as well as some all around refurbishing. Looks like there will be quite a bit of up-grading and warranty work going on in Idaho one of these days.
