YES! Just got my 710 and Native from Top of Texas! There is the TINIEST amount of lateral play in the blade. It is not noticable visually, but it can be felt. Is this normal?

Thanks
Howie

Mine had a little bit. Hasn't really gotten worse over time. If it bothers you a lot, you could probably send it back, or send it to Spyderco. Or, you could do what someone else told me: lay it on something solid, apply hammer to pivot. If that doesn't work, repeat. I haven't bothered with mine, though. To many other knives to put through the rotation.

i have a LW native as well as the BF native. my LW native has a slight bit, but i attribute that as much to the zytle handle than to anything else. i haven't tried the hammer trick either, but i don't feel i need to. mine hasn't gotten worse in the 9 months i've had it, but it has been more or less retired since i got my BF native

how do you like the 710? i love mine. it's not a daily user, but it sure is fun to play with.
