Blade play in Vantage pro?

My vantage pro has developed play...
Enough to rattle when shaken.
At first I tried to put tape of the pivot rail pin to make it bigger.
Is there any other choice other than sending it back?

I'm not sure if you tried tightening the pivot, but that fixed both blade play and blade centering on mine. In order to get it to the point of no blade play and being nicely centered, however, i had to tighten it such that it ceased to be a flipper. Not a big loss. The hole is more than adequate for me. Others may not feel the same though. Personal preference.

to get rid of my play i have to tighten it to the point I cant just flick it open, and it comes back after like 2 days of no use.

If you can get it to a point that you like with tightening the pivot, then get some blue loctite and use that on it. Below is a nice video about it.

If you can't do without the flipper action, then you might need to send it in, or maybe someone else out here knows something further to tell you. Good luck.

Do you use the knife alot? When you open it do you flick it open hard, moderate, or soft? Since it seems you have taken it apart, look at the pivot pin (what the blade pivots on) and the stop pin (what you put tape on). Do they have any divets or dings in them? if they do then you need to send it back to get it fixed.
