Blade Play on Native

Yesterday I received a plain edge Native with the zytel handle. There is considerable side to side play when the knife is opened. I can hold the blade to one side or the other and see light through the pivot area. Is this normal? I have never owned a Zytel handle folder so im not sure what to expect. To bad I did not here about the G-10 Natives before I bought this one. With the G-10 version have an adjustable pivot screw? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Only after MANY years, did my Native begin to show signs of ANY blade play. You, my friend, have yourself a lemon. I am SURE that Syderco will repair/replace the piece for either small or no amount, as long as you are SURE nothing naughty was done to the piece!

Well, I guess I must have gotten a lemon. I have done nothing more than shave arm hairs with my Native. What is the proper way to send the knife in to Spyderco for work?
