Blade play?

I am new to Emerson knives, having traded for a combat Karambit and purchased a new cqc7. Both have blade play (side to side), is this common for Emersons? I like the knives but in comparison with Spyderco, the blade play is a bit of an issue.

Adjusting the pivot should take care of any blade play.

yes, the pivot will take all play out.

Why don't you tighten the pivot? If it loosens up again then put some loctite.
