Months ago I found a web-site that had dozens of knife profiles on it.I lost my bookmarks. I think it was a older Aussie bladesmith. Not being very creative I found very helpful. Any of y'all know of such a site ??

I believe that was the designs of Lloyd Harding who passed away a year or so ago. Someone had the designs on their website but I don't remember who it was. I can e-mail you the designs if you would like, but it is an extensive file. I can also mail you a disc if it will help you out. Let me know.

Marcel

try the file: I have DSL large files not usually a problem, I also search under his name thanks!!!

You may want to try this one too Tommegow.

Click on the pic of the book that is lying down flat. It is the "Album".
On the left are bookmarks with different categories of knives. You can muddle about there too, maybe something will catch your eye.
The late Bob's whole site is a wealth of info and ideas for new and experienced knifemakers alike.

Thank you too Axeldoomeyer and Marcel, amazing designs.

Every time gents like Bob and Lloyd pass on the knife world and the world in general suffer a terrible loss, these guys were so unselfish with their knowledge.

Take care guys

Mike

Thank you to Hurley knives and paintfolio for keeping Lloyd Hardings work alive.

All the images were scanned 1:1 scale so that they could be printed and used as templates. There are a set of template drawings which cover his best sellers. His son has given permission for all to use the designs.

The drawings came from the top of LLoyds bench where he had stacked them
for many years. I tried to clean them up digitally but there are over 3 hundred and the time got the better of me. The last imaged were photographed with a scale included. The photographed drawing were knives he made but some were drawn by customers.

I have not been to the forum much over the last few months and it was very pleasing to see this thread.

Hey Reg, how are ya? I never did finish that tanto, but then I haven't finished anything since we last talked, it's been a long time but I have a new shop in the works and will be back at it soon, I'll send some pics your way when it's done.
I'm working on an entirely new website, Lloyd's drawings will be carried into the new site as well.

Steve nice to here from you. I am pleased to see yourself and the others keeping LLoyd's work alive.
I recently made a Lloyd inspired knife I will send you a pic. I am just about to go out and make another batch of my letter openers, the art gallery are chasing me again, god bless them.

I had a computer crash and burn after I posted the Lloyd discs around to you and the others I still have a disc which just showed me how easy it is to loose information on makers. I lost a pile of my own work and tutorials. The up side is they were not well made so I will have to upgrade my files with some new ones.

Nice to be back at the forum.

Stay happy
Reg
