Blade rattle ???????

Hay people,

Iv got a question consrening both my karambit and my cqc7, Iv noticed that when the blade is bitween open and closed there is a rattling noise from the pivot point (its not the pocket clip iv checked), my comrade has the same knife and his dosnt rattle, any thoughts on a diagnosis and should i be worried ????? :grumpy:
 
I'll bet it's not the pivot pin, but rather the stop pin. None of mine have this "querk" but I have heard of it happening. It causes no problem, but if it bothers you, send it to EKI and they will make it right- guaranteed:)

Good call, haven't seen it on an Emerson but have on other knives.
 
That makes sense, the noise obviously has no effect on the function of the blade so I suppose i can live with it.

You were exactly right, I went and had a good look and the stop pin is a wee bit loos, thanks again :D ;)
