Blade Re-Finishing Needed......

I am looking to have a knife of mine refinished.

And I am seeking someone to do it that can give it a stonewash/tool finish.

Any takers?

MDP, are there any gunsmiths in your area? I'll bet you can find one to shoot your blade with his beadblaster. Probably cost you $10 to do it too. My gunsmith hasn't done any of my knives but he tells me that it won't mess up the edge too bad(hard to believe). Just rehone it and your in business. So he says...

Bead blasting is not in the cards on this one. I am going to have the knife coated with a layer of Chromium and then Boron Carbide.

The problem with a bead blast is that it leaves ragged bits of metal that wear down relatively easy, taking the coating with them, thus negating the value of the coating.
