i have alot of knives and cant decide what to get next im looking for a high grade steal folder ive been mainly looking at sog and benchmade but im open to new stuff

Benchamdes have great steels. Sog has a lot of AUS 8 and AUS 6 which arenot what i'd call "high grade". Some Sogs have S30V, and VG-10, (used to have some ATS 34 but i don't know if they still use that or 154CM). Any Sogs with that steel would be higher grade.

Also look at Spydercos and Kershaws

S90V spyderco military... hurry before their all gone!

almost any benchmade is good but for me a great folder that feels super high quality and is also kind to your wallet is the kershaw framelock leek probably my most carried Knife

Don't know how much you have to spend, but I agree with these guys about Benchmade and SOG. SOGs are overrated and overpriced. I have the Vision in ATS-34 with a titanium handle. It's a great knife, but it cost me $180. That's a bit overpriced in my opinion, but I had to have it. If you can swing that, get one. It's my favorite folder.

I also like some of the Onion Kershaw designs. But stay away from the cheaper steels that are sometimes used in Kershaws.

My every day knife is the Kershaw Blur (I paid $55). It is made of Sandvik steel (58-59Rc) and has held up real well. And the blade deploys faster than some of my automatics.

The Alaskan Guide Buck 110 (available from Cabela's)....

Since you mention no price I'm going to say a Fallkniven PXL. It has a laminated blade with 3G steel as the core at a HRC of 62. All I know is that it is one of the sharpest blades I've ever received.

Pick up a ZDP-189 Spyderco Delica and Endura, Bradley Alias I or II, Benchmade mini-Grip.

If you're happy with your Blur with the Sandvik, you should be pretty pleased overall with Kershaw steels. Sure they've made knives with some others like 440A, but their heat treat made that quite usable. These days though, the vast majority of knives that leave the Kershaw factory that aren't made with some form of "super steel" will have either a Sandvik 13C26 or 14C28N blade, both of which have proven to be exceptional for daily knife tasks.

I almost always have at least one knife on me that is made with Sandvik steel and my knives see plenty of use.

Since a couple of you want to know what Kershaws I think are cheap (or better termed - inadequate), hear goes: the two Amphibians I own are made of J2 (53-54Rc), they dull if you breath on them too hard (but great designs), the three Leeks I own are made of 440A and work good it you don't mind sharpening them a lot (I carry one at work because it is so thin you don't even know its in your pocket), same for the Scullion and Chive (though I don't own either one), I have a Kershaw Bowie (don't know model) that can dull cutting paper. I like Kershaw designs a lot. But because I appreciate quality steels I am disappointed with there choices in many instances.

Now you may ask why I have so many in cheap steels if I don't like cheap steals. I have far more in quality steels. And many times I buy a knife just because I like the design.

Very good choice Bladez123. You'll be happy with the Axis lock. My Griptilian has one and it works great. 154CM is a top notch steel (though even with my diamond Gatco sharpener it takes a while to get a shaving edge on my Buck Alpha Hunter - which is the only knife I have in 154CM that I actually use). You obviously have enough money to buy whatever you wanted - the 950sbk is very pricey - but I suspect it's worth it.
