Blade replacement for Camillus Dominator

I recently bought Dominator with quite worn blade. The rest was in the very good condition. Then on eBay I purchased new spare blade. After resharpening, decided to replace. Stopped on the following:

Can anyone explain me how to detach the pin (or whatever it is called) used for assists? I tried to twist it (gently), to tap on the back side. Sits dead. To avoid damage, I decided that better to ask.

Google has not helped. Need your advise :confused:

I would think you might need to get a new pin or maybe a little heat might loosen it.
But I am not sure. I stricty work on vintage folders...
Post your message on automatic knife / switchblades.
