I got an old Keen-Kutter with beautiful coffin style bone handles and fancy bolsters but the main blade is sharpened away. Does anyone know of a slipjoint repair person who might be able to make or acquire a blade or blades and fix this knife? Just want it for personal use so historical correctness is not a problem. Thanx for the help.KV

I would say it would cost more money to repair the knife than it would be to buy a new knife. The main blade may still have some use left in it, but may need a reprofiled edge.

You can email some of the knife makers and repairers (members of this site) and see what they say.

BEst of luck,
John

If you have some photos of the knife and blade I may be able to help you repair it or point you to someone who can.
