I recently bought a Steel Warrior wharncliffe whittler:
Obviously the main blade is a wharncliffe style but I am curious as to the name for the secondary blade shape. The only reference to it I found in a product description called it a pen blade but all the information i can find describes a pen blade more as a miniature spear or possibly drop point. The top edge is not quite straight, convexing out very slightly but that may just be to give easier access to the nail notch. The Wikipedia article on Blade calls it a "normal" blade and I have found one other reference where it is called a "straightback". But that is all I can find online.
If anyone out there can spare me their 2 cents, my curiosity would very much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge!
