Hi folks,
Hoping to draw on your knowledge of all things Spyderco...I have a Salsa (my favourite EDC) which I love.
I was wondering what other Spyderco's share the blade shape of the Salsa - I'm hoping to pick up some more Spyderco's soon.

Many thanks in advance

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.

A couple of Spyderco models which are somewhat similar in blade shape (wide, leaf shape) are the Lil' Temperance and Lum Chinese. The Lil' Temp looks like a Salsa on steroids. Neither of these have quite as much belly as the Salsa, possibly since the blades are longer.

The Meerkat has a similar shape as does the Navigator (out of production).

Those were my favorite looking knives before I ever starting buying knives. I wanted a salsa but never could justify the additionmal cost.

Don't forget the Dragonfly, my personal favorite (at least until I get my hands on a Calypso Jr. and or Paramilitary.)

Okay, it's a lot bigger, but I'm surprised no one has mention the Chinook.
IMO the old style Chinook has too high of a point to make it like Salsa. Besides, that little blade with the flat grind is a hell of a cutter. Chinook's aggressive hollow grind is similar, but just not quite like it.
I want to see the new style Chinook when they have it out.
