my personal opinion is that CRK sebenza should have a couple more blade shapes to pick from. Actually, the classic and the regular are almost identical, one is just more pointy. A wharncliff or something similar could be one. I ,myself have a NICA tanto, a regular, and a classic with leather inserts. What do you think??

Well I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the new NICA Sebenza will be a reverse tanto. I signed up with Dan at Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa CA to put me on the list for a left hand one sight unseen. He indicates that delivery would be probably sometime in 2006 (which is not really all that far away). Prototypes are being worked on but no pictures are currently available. ;) :p

This has been brought up before and the answer is the same now as it was before.....no. CRK does not intend to change the blade shapes for the Sebenza line nor provide it as an option. The NICA tanto blade is exclusive to the N.I.C.A. and if I remember correctly no other Sebenza would be made with that blade shape. The only knife that I can see that may benefit from a wharncliffe blade is the Umfaan if and when it gets off the back burner. The Mnandi would be a close second for that blade shape. I cannot (and hope not to) see a Sebenza with a wharncliffe blade. If they did make a knife with that blade shape it would have to be a totally new knife design with a new name.
