blade shapes

I'm going to have a new EDC made. It will be a small (3 5/8"), Japanese style, double grind, fixed blade keychain knife. The tanto is the most popular, but what are your opinions about the most practical blade shape? Thanks.

A Tanto blade design is not practical at all. Unless your stabbing things.
Any other blade shape will be better
