Once again I will be attending the Blade Show. This will be #4 for me. :D I am looking for a VIP pass when they become available. If anyone plans on getting them please keep me in mind.

Thank you. :)

I've noticed that information on Blade 2005 seems to be a bit scarce. The Blade Magazine page on the topic is sparse, at best.

When do you suppose there will be a list of exhibitors?

The exhibitor list with their table numbers and a map of the facility usually comes out the issue just before the show and if I'm not mistaken it only comes out to those who subscribe . . . not the rack issue.

I may be mistaken on that point but it seems that's how it was in the past.

Ya. That's pretty much all the info I could find. I was looking more for the maps and list of exhibitors. I know their floor spots are all sold out, so a list ought to be forthcoming.

Cerberus the knife is one made by John Fitch before he got his MS stamp. If I remember correctly the blade was 13". It was more like a sword than a bowie. It was so nice I could not bring myself to use it so it was sold. Of course, now I wish I hadn't. It was a flat grind and I bet is an awesome chopper! Although it had a large blade it was light in the hand and handled well the way a correctly made bowie should.

I got it from Danbo who had it made by John. Danbo picked out the material for the handle. Don't remember exactly what it was but it was beautiful!

I miss it . . .

Grapevine, I agree with the knifenut comment . . . or maybe he's just got that other area well taken care of! :D

naive question, as this will be my first Blade show:
what does a VIP pass get you?

You get into the show for free and a free lap dance by one of Bastid's goats.

WOW Smooth Bone, I have never seen a Fitch knife that large. I was thinking that it did look like a small sword :D and you sold it   Ah yes, the ones that get away from us....

Grapevine, yes I am a knife nut but I do notice what KV has for an avatar and see his postings quite frequently where the pirates go to hang out....Man first,,,knifenut second :D

Sorry for clogging up KV's thread again  :p
