Thanks again for the pics,Peter.
They are all so very, very nice.
Too hard to pick a favorite from these five.

Doug:)

Wow... I didn't know that Robbin Hudson would be there. This is super rare stuff...

Of those, my fav' is the Dean hunter. This is a testament to Dean's abilities as I'm not al all into hunter usually. The Jason Knight fighter is right up my alley!

Joss,

The Huckleberry is a reproduction of a Rogers Fighter from turn of the century California.
It did all of its "hunting" in saloons, bordellos and gambling halls.

I bought the Hudson from a dealer.

They are all super nice. The Hudson is quite a find indeed. The little Roberts knife is super sweet and a raging bargain to boot. Congrats on the haul!

Roger

I think I saw that Hudson in a dealer's case (unless it was another one). I remember thinking that it's kind of rare to come across something like that.

Excellent scores Peter and it was really nice to meet you at the show. I especially like Jason's fighter. Is that the one that took Best Fighter? I know one of his fighters did.

That Dean is really something. Simple, but with a real wow factor. I think they are all real nice, but that one stands out.

Nice to meet you also. Congrats on your Roberts!

No, I was clutching mine too tightly and the thought of returning it to Jason for the judging did not even cross my feeble mind. I did look at all of his Fighters, and would say that any one of them could have won the award. There was zero difference between them regarding fit and finish. I selected mine purely on the basis of feel, overall appearance and materials.

Nicely done, Peter.

Enjoyed dinner Saturday. We'll have to do it again next year.

By the way, that piece of stag is outstanding. Most of what I am seeing around right now is poor quality and way overpriced.

We've not met, but I'd lay even money we could set our collections down on the same table and people might not notice it being two totally different collections!!!

I've got three of Shawn's works, very much in the style of that one, but it's the Knight Fighter that really "cuts" to the core of my collection!!! :D

Now I know I have to bump Jason and Adam to the top of my list!!!

Thanks for sharing!

Joe,

How about some images of your blades?

Best,
P

New slightly better images of mine.

Peter, there are a few threads that I've posted some stuff, but since I don't have them hosted anywhere, you need to send me an email and I'll send you some of the pics I have on my work comp... as my home one died and I can't get much out of it for awhile...

If that works, I look forward to sharing some of my collection with ya!
