I commend you not only on having and posting photos, but on their superb quality! Fantastic work.

I just now run across this thread and I appreciate your great photos. I hope you dont mind if I keep some for myself. I was hardly able to take any pictures the whole show. I've been relying on you guys to supply me and I must say I've seen pleased with your photography. Jim Crowell was nice enough to mail me some prints! Thanks again, Lin Rhea

Cool pics! I'm just noticing this thread for the first time too. I even see my ugly mug in the background of one of the shots (blue shirt, sunglasses in the photo of Lin cutting the rope).

Of course - I'm flattered and honored.

Congratulations on your win.

Perhaps some thoughts/comments please -

during the bladder burst section a number of knife tips were damaged - initially the damaged knives were eliminated - then re-admitted with a penalty. It's hard to determine whether the tips were damaged by the baking (steel) tin or the supporting glass case -

what was the reason a supporting glass case was used instead of say just the wooden table top - where any damage to the tip would be from only the baking (steel) tin?

Chopping the piece of wood into small strips of "firewood" - I was really surprised that so many edges were damaged from this test - eliminating all but two - can you please help shed some light on why this was so - and how did you avoid damaging your edge?

Thanks,
