You made some nice snags Peter!
It was great seeing my friend Jason get his Ms. I think he's been doing that level work for a long time, but he sweated it out and made it official last week-end. I was SOOO proud to see him get the BR Hughes award. Jason makes handles that just drop into your hand and make you think, "Awe... yes, that's right!"

His dagger had a killer design with damn near perfect execution... TOTALLY cool stuff.
I had not seen John White since I met him at Blade show about 4 years ago. He had JUST taken the intro course some months before that show. I was so excited to see him again. I was not surprised to see how much his work had improved. It was all top drawer, super clean, and elegant work. I think many pics don't do John's work justice, as it was all far better than any photo I've seen. He was STILL the unbelievably humble and gracious man that I met 4 years ago... even after just getting that Ms. This is a man whose prescence will indeed be kept in the spot-light.
Very similar thoughts on Shawn. I had not had the pleasure to meet Shawn until this show. We had a lengthy discussion on design, construction, and "feel." We definitely are on the same wavelength with many of our approaches to knives. He was super nice and had some of the coolest bladeware at the show. All very elegant and extremely well made.
There's no photo of Don Hanson's work here, but I just wanted to add that it was also a great pleasure to meet him. I was ever so glad to see Don's work meet up with all the hype. They quite simply rocked. Great looking stuff with great balance and feel. His dagger was like a feather!
As for that Wheeler guy... I think he's a hack!
