A call out to one and all Shutterbugs,

When Bastid and Blues and Gig1, ect. or any of the bf.com members attending Blade Show 007 this weekend wouldn't mind snapping off at least a few good kodak moments of the guyz & galz of the infamous Blade Forum enjoying themselves their at the knife show, I believe it would be much obliged here for those of us who could not attend this year!.

Thanks in advance to any & all who can play the paparazzi to the BladeForum.Com folks & folksy's.. :p :D :D

I suck at being a paparazi. I was so taken in by the whole event that I did a very crappy job at taking pics. Being new to the event and seeing folks from the forums for the first time was quite a shock to the system. I think my brain did a core dump and I lost some names-faces but I'll go ahead and post some of the decent pics I have.

I really had a good time shootin the bull with Gus and Elliot. It looks like I'm bored with these guys but my wife took so long to take this shot I went to sleep. :) Elliot is in the witness protection program and walked around with his show tag backwards to be safe.

Folks milling around the table and filling out cards for the drawing.

Randy cheesin over his Bose Knives in a Box(I should come up with a waiver for that too :)

This shot is just minutes away from the drawing time. The crowd got so thick that it did get hotter like was mentioned in another thread. It is amazing how much attention these drawings get. Notice how high the card stacks got next to each knife(lower right corner) Maker John Frap was in the isle across from the Bose table and said that the stacks were double the height of last years.

During the drawings, they take a stack of cards and throw them in a box and someone from the crowd pulls a card. Here Tony is reading the name but eventually a town cryer was employed due to the sound suck in that room.

She looks like she was making a wish as she is handed that card to Tony, "oh please be mine please be mine please be mine." Her wish wasn't granted but someone else was made very happy.

a couple more...
Here Reese is telling the name of one of his lucky winners. I was happy to see Blues win the chance to buy one.

This is my favorite shot of the whole deal. Although there is considerable contrast in what they produce, there is mutual admiration for each others contributions to knifemaking. For a guy like myself that likes to hammer out a blade or make the occasional slippy, this was the proverbial icing on the show cake.
