Here are some of the knives I will be bringing. I am doing more folders than fixed blades this year.
Some of the photos were done by Chuck Ward, and he did a very fine job. Hope you enjoy!!

I'll be seeing you there! It ain't BLADE without a stop at your table for a new piece from you, man. :)
Love those flippers!!

All are great but the little fixed blade at the bottom is my favourite. Great work....

those are some outstanding designs:thumbup:
You been picked up by a production company yet? If 'no', it won't be a long wait.
Love that wrapped handled one

What would make you write something like that, Lorien?

Do you have experience guiding a maker to a knife company?

Do you know of a knife company actively looking for work of the type that David is known for?

BTW, David, the work looks great!..Will you be setting up on Thursday?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Hey Steven. No, I usually don't get in until late Thursday evening, but I will be setting up early on Friday. Come on by, it has been awhile.

I forgot to mention, all the flippers have the IKBS.

I actually do have a production piece coming out in June from Boker, my small Trigonaut. Hopefully, I will have a prototype on my table as well.

Thanks for response, guys!! It is appreciated!!

Been two years...I do guess that's a while, see you on Friday.:D

1. I've seen the progression in Mr. Mosier's work over the years through Bladeforums mostly, and these examples seem to me to be quite refined, and also highly marketable in a marketplace which places a large emphasis on design. Additionally, Mosier's knife building skills seem more than up to the task of bolstering these slick designs. It seems like a no-brainer that production knife companies would always be looking for excellent designer/knife makers to work with. I don't collect or generally buy 'tactical knives', but I really appreciate how this genre has opened the field to interesting and unique designs and how the market stays fresh due to this creativity.

2. No, I don't

3. I can think of a few who whose product mix could easily absorb a few of these designs, but no, I don't specifically know of any.

Looking back, maybe what I could have said would've been along the lines of "If 'no', I can't see it being a long wait."

Thanks for asking, Steven.

And, congratulations David Mosier on your deal with Boker. The Trigonaut is a great design, and will fit in well with their line:thumbup:.

That was a cautionary post for you, Lorien...what if DM DID NOT have a done deal...what if he had approached a number of companies and had the door slammed in his face?

What seems like an easy and encouraging post for you might either be 1) an unintended poke on a sore subject, or 2) the stoking of unreal hopes or expectations...you never know....if you want to learn more about thoughts and inner workings of production knife company honchos, I'd be happy to give you some contacts....I had encouraged Kevin Jones to do this in the past, and he was less than not interested.

I hadn't thought of that Steven.
Sure, I wouldn't mind learning a little bit more about that kind of thing. I can only imagine what kind of onion that business must be. I'll check my pm box:thumbup::cool:
